Nokia 5800 XpressMusic: Unboxing and first hands on
As I wrote in my last post the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic comes closer and closer every day. Now, I finally received a trial unit and I’m pretty impressed so far. The first S60-Touch device features a 3.2” touch screen with a resolution of 640×360 pixels, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Dual LED, Carl Zeiss lens and autofocus. As always you find the unboxing and short hands on video along with some pictures here on SymbianWorld. If you have some questions please post all your questions.
Here the content of the box:
- Nokia 5800 (RM-356)
- Battery with 1320mAh (BL-5J)
- microUSB-cable (CA-101)
- Headphones
- Remote-control (AD-54)
- Plectrum
- Carring Case
- Deskstand
- TV-Out cable (CA-75U)
- Charger
- Secondary stylus
- Manual
- Get Started sheet
- CD
I really like the content with which the 5800 comes along. A carrying case, all cables you need, a 8GB microSDHC card, a deskstand and even more is indeed generous.

@ Furie:
Actually the 5800 feels pretty good. The UI is awesome and you can do everything with your finger. Text input is a little bit difficult but other than that I really like it.
@ uffie
Well, it’s made out of plastic I guess. At least it’s not glas.
nice review

Hmm..got mine today. Impressed with the phone, although half the contents of the box appear to be somewhat lacking. No case, no TV-Out cable, no spare stylus and no deskstand. None of these are mentioned on the Nokia site or T-Mobile, so could they be exclusive to reviewers or certain networks?
Darren i’ve face the same prob.. . seems like nokia 5800 made after aug 09 all are lacking those accessories plus check your manual your phone is not supposed to support tv out.. what a disappointment!!
