The Nokia Beta Labs has released three brand new touch friendly applications which were announced at Nokia World 2009. Nokia Messaging is now expanding with the Social Messaging beta. This new client is the start of what will become the multi-community social networking client. Lifecast with Ovi has been designed to allow users to share memorable moments with friends on Facebook in a whole new way, and Ovi Maps for Mobile has seen a face lift along with some user friendly adjustments.

Lifecast with Ovi
You can now keep your Facebook friends up to date on where you are and what you are doing in a new way. Lifecast the street address you are at, share a meaningful location from the nearby places of interest and show your friends what you are exploring, with photo and attach support straight into your Facebook post.

Ovi Maps for Mobile
Finally Ovi Maps beta for mobile, which has taken a step further into becoming a complete resource for social navigation. With Ovi Maps, you can easily find your current location, places nearby, and addresses you are looking for, and save all your favourite places. Get to your destination safe and sound with Drive and Walk, real-time car and pedestrian navigation. If you preload the map data on your compatible Nokia device with Map Loader, you can also use all these features and services offline.
You can also check out the weather forecasts and events around you, explore premium travel content via Lonely Planet and Michelin for over 1000 destinations, and find thousands of listings for sights, restaurants, hotels, shops, nightlife, and much more.
