So, tell me something about your person.(age, hobby etc.)
I’m 23 and currently a nursing student at Pace University. When I’m not blogging, I’m hanging out with my girlfriend, or playing ball or tennis with my buddies at the park. Another hobby I like is making videos, which was introduced to me thanks to the Nokia N93.
How do you come to the mobile and S60 scene?
I’ve always liked having the latest gadgets. I think I was the first person in my high school to have a cell phone! When more people got phones, I remember them getting even more creative and started adding customizations like keypad lights and flashing antennas. I wanted more than just looks. I also wanted a phone that can do more than just texts and calls. That’s why I was glad when I found out about S60.
Tell us something about your blog
The Nokia Blog is a news, rumors, reviews, videos, and guides for the Nokia fanatics like me and you. It first started out as providing the latest Nokia-related news, but it became very time-consuming. It got in the way of my time to study. Now, it’s more about providing more of my thoughts about what’s new, as well as How-To’s and reviews. Like I said, I like making videos, so you’ll see them at the Nokia Blog, too. You can still read breaking Nokia-related news on the sidebar.
Why did you start your blog?
First I started a personal website where I wrote about a lot things. But when time progressed, I noticed more and more of my posts were about my Nokia phones. That’s when I decided to create a blog just about Nokia.
Do you have an idol (blogging idol)?
Paul Whitaker from MyPhoneRocks.com is the guy that got me into videoblogging. Even before the Nokia N93 came out, he showed off fancy edited movies filmed by the phone. I was amazed that a phone was able to capture this kind of video quality.
What was your first S60 phone and which device do you have at the moment?
My first S60 phone was the Nokia 6680. I currently have the Nokia N95 and the Nokia N93i. Both are great video phones that I’ll be using for my upcoming project: http://nseries.tv
What do you like most about S60?
In one sentence: It is like having a laptop in my pocket.
Where should S60 makes improvements?
After playing with an iPhone, I know Nokia might be in trouble. The interface is so simple and beginner-friendly. I think the S60 needs to work on that.
Now a question you miss and you want to answer?
Q: Where do you recommend buying the latest Nokia phones?
Answer: Check out a phone price comparison website I also created called Fonegrabber.com
