Nokia We Recycle: Internet on a phone is green

However, did you knew that one facebook update on your desktop PC consumes the same amount of energy as updating it a hundred times on your phone? This is only one example of how green it is to use internet on your phone. Over the coming weeks Nokia got a series of videos showing how easy it is to be green. If only 10 percent of the one billion people using Nokia devices instead of their desktop computer to browse the internet for one hour, it would avoid 2,7 million tons of CO2 emissions per year. That equals annual emissions of 430,000 cars.
