Free Navigation: Ovi Maps Officially Updated to 3.04

ovi-maps-logoToday Nokia officially announced a new version of Ovi Maps with new partners like  Qype and updates that deliver faster searching and maps with more relevant information. The updated version is part of Ovi Maps’ commitment to continually grow its service with easier and more personal navigation, better performance and improved search coverage. The updated Ovi Maps 3.04 can be downloaded for free from or straight from the handset. Ovi Maps  3.04 also includes faster searching and WiFi positioning, making it more accessible on-the-go, especially indoors and in low signal areas. Within the last three months, Ovi Maps has been downloaded over 10 million times – one download per second. This is a really impressive figure indeed and reflects the demand for this service.
