Nokia Is Still Number One in the Philippines Based From Survey

Philippines is a small country that consists of hundreds of unique islands. But when we’re talking of social networking and texting, this place constitutes a big part to Asia and to the world’s numbers. It’s the number one Asian country to have facebook users and Philippines is dubbed to be the Texting Capital of the World for many years now. So being number one mobile manufacturer or brand in this country means a strong feat in the current tech trend.

TNS, one of the biggest custom research company in the world held a survey about the mobile diversity in Philippines. The program’s focus is to create a way to share the status of current mobile usage to more people. Titled of the survey is Mobile Life 2011. Results on slide are available below.

Now on its sixth year, Mobile Life 2011 is the result of more than 25,000 hours of interviews with over 34,000 respondents in 43 countries, including the Philippines. It provides a complete understanding of consumer experiences with mobility today and insights into how this will change tomorrow.
