When Nokia announced the Symbian Belle together with Nokia 701, Nokia 700 and Nokia 700 in Hong Kong last couple of weeks ago, they also stated that other Symbian^3 devices like your N8, E7, C7, X7 etc. will also receive this update by this year.
But until now we don’t have exact date on that Symbian Belle arrival and availability to all regions worldwide. And until now there are still few regions didn’t receive yet the Symbian Anna update especially in the US. So if you’re one of the few people who have problems or questions with Symbian Anna update you can temporarily refer to this trouble shooting guide from discussion.nokia.com.
On the other hand, this one is for those who are interested on knowing how will first Symbian^3 devices will manage the Symbian Belle. This one is a short video showing the speed of Nokia N8 on booting up.
Just take note that this is an older version of Symbian Belle and was leaked last July 15, 2011. The Symbian Belle on 701, 700 and 600 are newest with version 111 compare to version 22 on my N8. Also Nokia N8 and first gen. S^3 have 680Mhz CPU and 256MB RAM compare to 1GHz and 512MB RAM of Nokia 700s.
So did the N8’s hardware managed well the old version Belle? What do you think?
