Remember when we demoed the Nokia Maps on my iPad last time? It’s the free maps with places and routing features and is now even better. Nokia just updated their Nokia Maps both in web and mobile.

Last month Nokia released the Nokia Maps for non-Nokia devices. The first to be supported of this Nokia Maps with free navigation and search were the HTML5 browser supported devices. These includes your iOS such as iPad, iPhone, and also for Androids one and others that support HTML5.

Layar is one of the best Augmented Reality Browser provider for mobile devices out there. And recently, they were proud to announced that augmented reality experience is available for Symbian users too. And that is making life’s experiences to be colorful especially to the millions of Nokia users.

It’s almost months now since I’ve used my GPS on my Nokia N97 mini and luckily I was to able to use it again and compared with my Nokia E52. I was hoping that this comparison would help me to solve some other issues that users experience, specially on the GPS speed locking.

The Nokia N86 8MP has recently been updated with a new firmware taking it up to v30.009. The new update brings with it the new Ovi Maps 3.3 with free voice guided navigation, allows you to share your location via Facebook and also includes some improvements to Nokia Messaging.
